Country supplement: Netherlands

Last updated: 2 November 2026

For review by lawyer. This is a draft that describes what EaglesEntry does today. It is published so the structure and wording can be reviewed; it is not yet approved by counsel. Notes marked “For review by lawyer” show where counsel’s input decides the text.

For review by lawyer. Netherlands edition. The EU/EEA supplement applies: GDPR rights with a one-month reply, our EU representative’s contact, opt-in cookies, and the local data-protection authority as your complaint route.

How the User Agreement and Privacy Policy apply to members who live in Netherlands. Your declared country of residence decides which supplement applies to you, whatever edition you are browsing. Change it in Settings › Account preferences › Country of residence.

1. Who this supplement is for

This supplement applies to you if you told us you live in Netherlands. Visiting another edition, or travelling, does not change it: the rules follow your residence, not your IP address, and we never redirect you by location.

For review by lawyer: confirm the residence rule for Netherlands (EDPB Guidelines 3/2018 for the EU; the national equivalent elsewhere).

2. Your privacy rights

Your complaint route is Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens. We answer requests to access, correct, delete or export your data within 30 days, extendable by two months for complex requests with reasons.

EaglesEntry has no establishment in the EU/EEA, so a representative under GDPR Art 27 is named in the Privacy Policy, and a Digital Services Act contact point is published there. Your data is processed in the United States under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

For review by lawyer: insert the representative’s name and address, the transfer mechanism and the DPA link for Netherlands.

3. Cookies, visit measurement and marketing

Nothing that is not strictly necessary runs before you say yes: no visit measurement, no analytics, no marketing cookies. “Reject” sits next to “Accept” with equal weight, and we remember a refusal for six months so we don’t ask again.

We send marketing email only after you opt in, and every message carries an unsubscribe link that works at once.

EaglesEntry is for people aged 18 and over. For completeness: the digital consent age in Netherlands is 16.

4. Applying, recruiters and paid features

You apply on the employer’s own site. EaglesEntry does not take applications from members in your country yet, because that could make us an employment agency under your law.

Employers cannot post jobs located in your country yet; this opens once the country’s rule file ships.

No AI-generated pitch of yours reaches a recruiter, and you are not shown in Candidate Discovery, because your country keeps recruiter-side AI off.

Job seekers are never charged: fees from job seekers are not allowed in your country.

For review by lawyer: confirm the employment-agency position for Netherlands before any in-platform feature opens there.

5. Job postings in Netherlands

Pay is shown only as the employer posted it; a posting without pay says so. Only the experience the employer stated is shown, never an EaglesEntry band.

Notice languages for Netherlands: nl, en. English pages are served until the translated pages ship.

6. Netherlands specifics

  • Job cards show only the experience the employer stated, never an EaglesEntry band (age-discrimination practice of the Netherlands Institute for Human Rights).
  • Seeker fees are never charged (Waadi art 3(1)).

For review by lawyer: every line above is a draft from legal-research/country-editions; confirm each statute reference before publishing.
